This ODIER 12.1mm axle mount trailer hitch is only compatible with Thule's bike trailer products. It allows a second bike to tow the bike trailer without the need for time-consuming installation and uninstallation. Each family member can take turns being the towing role.

The hole diameter for the axle is 12.1mm, and the outer diameter of the attaching area is 28mm. If your bike's drop-out is not flat enough, you may need to use an adapter or spacers.

Most bikes only require a basic axle mount cup hitch for attachment. However, some bikes may need a QR (quick release) adapter and an extra-long skewer. High-end bikes with a 12mm thru-axle may require a thru-axle adapter. It's important to note that direct installation on a carbon fiber bike frame could potentially damage the frame, so a thru-axle adapter is recommended in such cases.
